Oh, and Happy Cinco de Mayo!! To commemorate the occasion, we want to share a couple of interesting (and related) items from the week. Foremost, the New York Times wrote an interesting (and slightly provocative) piece profiling Gustavo Arellano, food editor at the OC Weekly and author of a newly released book about the Mexican-American cuisine, entitled, Taco USA.  Check out the article by clicking here.  Then, Lynne Rossetto Kasper of the Splendid Table, (a phenomenal weekly podcast on food), had a brief interview with Mexican chef Pati Jinich, host of PBS’s Pati’s Mexican Table.
